There are many impactful ways in which social media have been influencing mental health. One way is when people constantly compare themselves to their social media persona. Another way is when social media users constantly check for likes, comments, and shares. This can result in cyberbullying or feeling inadequate because they don't get as much attention as others do on the platform.
